By downloading, installing, or using SignPDF ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.
Description of Service
SignPDF is a mobile application that allows you to:
- Open and view PDF documents
- Create and save digital signatures
- Add signatures to PDF documents
- Export signed PDF documents
User Responsibilities
When using SignPDF, you agree to:
- Use the app only for lawful purposes
- Not use the app to forge signatures or commit fraud
- Ensure you have the right to sign documents you process through the app
- Take responsibility for the security of your device and signatures
Digital Signatures
SignPDF provides a tool for adding digital signatures to PDF documents. Please note:
- Signatures created with SignPDF are visual representations added to PDF files
- The legal validity of digital signatures varies by jurisdiction
- For legally binding documents, consult with legal professionals about requirements in your jurisdiction
- You are responsible for ensuring your use of digital signatures complies with applicable laws
In-App Purchases
SignPDF offers a premium upgrade as a one-time in-app purchase:
- Premium features are unlocked permanently after purchase
- Purchases are processed through Apple's App Store
- All purchases are subject to Apple's terms and refund policies
- Prices may vary by region and are subject to change
Free Version Limitations
The free version of SignPDF includes:
- Limited number of document exports per month
- Limited number of saved signatures
These limitations are removed with the premium upgrade.
Intellectual Property
SignPDF and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Disclaimer of Warranties
SignPDF is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Warranties that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted
- Warranties regarding the legal validity of signatures in any jurisdiction
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of profits or data
- Damages arising from your use or inability to use the app
- Any issues with documents signed using the app
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the app or by updating this page. Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the app at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Use or is harmful to other users or us.
Governing Law
These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
